• Is the paper and card in Penny Black products responsibly sourced?

  Yes, our greetings cards range includes only products made from FSC approved board - paper that comes from responsibly managed forests. Our giftwrap range is produced sustainably and responsibly. We also aim to source products manufactured in the UK wherever possible.

• Is the glitter you use biodegradable?

  We're working with our suppliers to say goodbye to glitter that's not biodegradable so we can have all of the sparkle with none of the elements that can be harmful to the planet.

• What are you doing about cello bags from greeting cards?

  We are gradually losing all plastic cello bags from our greetings cards and encouraging all our suppliers to do so too.
